Inside my dream home | winter

It's time to give you all a peek inside my (dream) home! Although I'm kind of digging Nordstrom's whole "we prefer to celebrate one holiday at a time" thing (rather than bombard their stores with Christmas decor the day after Halloween, they wait until Thanksgiving), you can see that I do have a little bit of holiday ambiance going on inside of my (imaginary) abode.  Enjoy!

Just in case you didn't pick up on my not-so-subtle hinting, this isn't actually my house.  But, pretending is so much more fun than reality.

DIY | Bookshelf

Happy Saturday! I hope you all enjoyed your Friday! I had a fabulous Friday with lots of friends & one great football game, I will post more on that later... I was so excited when I did my first mini DIY! I did this on Thursday night and just got around to editing the photographs, last night. 

So, I started with a plain old little ladder, I saw it in my Opa's garage and picked it out to take home. I immediately saw potential in it, to be anything! While, driving home i knew that I should think of some ideas for things to "make" or "create" with this beautiful ladder. I came up with a bookshelf I was really excited ad could not wait to get home to do this DIY!

I can't wait to paint it this week! I will post update photos soon! <3

All I want to be and more | Mom

is her, she is the beautiful future & peaceful present. I want to be as beautiful, as smart, & just like you. As I reach out for a hug from you, I can already feel the warmth & infinite love. You are my sun, light, warmth, love, & universe.

This all may seem cliche however, I do believe it is all true for you, the best & most loving mother of all! When I start to think of a life without you a quickly realize you are here & never will leave. I quickly realize the beauty I have in my life because of you. Everyday I make a new discovery & find a new thing I enjoy and adore about you!
